Feather Geyser
Naris 4: The Planet of No Flight
CID P-4
Regions
Orangestone
Known for its orange-colored rocks, this region is filled with the highest concentration of geysers on the planet. Underneath is a vast caldera, and believed to be one of the sources of the strange substance found in geyser water.
Subspecies
Paradise Archipelago
An isolated island chain with large geysers/volcanoes at their hearts. The region’s isolated nature means unique creatures are found here that aren’t found anywhere else on the planet.
Subspecies
Poison Peat Bowl
The hot bog water of this region is constantly bubbling, the result of underground volcanic activity. The plants and the peat they produce are extremely toxic.
Subspecies
Frozen Feather
An arctic tundra filled with colorful giant feather-like ice formations. The species found here have adapted to the cold by growing insulating coats.

Observations
The species of Feather Geyser are thought to have been capable of flight, as most have developed wings and feathers. Yet no cataloged species have been found capable of true flight. Most regions are dotted with geysers, and most species live in the holes left over by inactive ones. The ejected water contains a strange substance, the purpose of which requires further study.
