Observations
This species of whisker fish live in the muddy waters of the Trench Canyons. They grow vibrant pearls that resemble piercings along their bodies. The pearls are coveted by other species, mainly for the use in creating displays for mating rituals. This makes the fish sought-after prey by predators. Despite their size and bulk, this species lacks any protective capabilities.
